Paper dolls shaped by you.
Cut on crisp paper straight in a row they stand.
One doll how ever is askew.
Different in view.
Crinkled in places and when cut she bled.
Imperfection in the line.
Cut her away.
But then the others die and turn a shade of grey.
For she\'s the only one that truly knew how to live
and the rest were simply paper dolls.
…from little girls playing with their paper dolls…
to one day…
Little girls grown
… having a baby brought forth from within with umbilical cord severed
Generational Lines with many an imperfection
Yet, realizing the difference between paper dolls and real dolls…
